VHF/DSC Training is not only essential for you to stay safe but it is also a legal requirement for anyone who operates a VHF radio at sea or on the shore.

Please note! There is an mandatory RYA £60 license fee, £30 assessment fee and £14 VHF Book (hard copy or electronic version) £14 fee = £100. Our classroom course includes free parking, tea and coffee; lunch is not included.
The VHF DSC Training Course ensures a good understanding of the Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS). On successful completion of the VHF / DSC course you will be awarded the RYA’s Short Range Certificate (Maritime Radio Operator Certificate of Competence).
