If you are booking an RYA level 1 or 2 course you can take advantage of one of our course bundles.
For example a Level 2 can be combined with a VHF / DSC course and a saving can be made on both courses.

Boatability is expanding. We are looking for additional qualified instructors to work on a freelance basis to join our busy team. If you are qualified to instruct to RYA Powerboat level 2 or above please contact us with your details.
We have one or two positions available for apprentices too but the competition for these places is high but do get in an application if you are keen to develop a career in the marine industry.

The ICC - International Certificate of Competence or your "boat licence" is an important certificate to obtain before you go to European Mainland. As the skipper of a vessel, you must ensure that you are aware of any requirement for qualifications before venturing into another country's jurisdiction. In very general terms an ICC (International Certificate of Competence) is required for the inland waterways of Europe and for inland and coastal waters of Mediterranean countries. You will not be allowed to operate your vessel in other European countries without one. Indeed without such a document you may find your boat impounded for many days before you can get a suitable qualified skipper (ICC qualified...! ) to remove your boat for you. That said the time stress and inconvenience is likely to be more than enough to spoil a nice cruise on the continent. Boatability can help you obtain your certificate through tailored ICC training and a direct assessment or through an enhanced RYA Level 2 training course that is especially geared to your existing knowledge, training and experience. |
